day 2: a song you always look for on jukeboxes

i did not have an obvious answer for this one. i think i don’t go to many places that have jukeboxes? i had a hard time picturing myself going through a jukebox. 

anyway, i think this is a great jukebox song for a lot of different venues. here in LA, everyone is contractually obligated to love this song, so you get to see people around the bar try to contain their instinct to “shake it shake it cali” and it reveals who knows all the words and accidentally shouts out “gimme love!”

when i’m out of town, i enjoy putting it on to remind people how awesome california is.
