day 8: a song you always put on playlists/mixtapes

my mixtapes are premised on including only new music, so there’s no “always” there. but this song makes it onto a whole lot of my playlists and any mixes i make for non-new music, because a) it’s a totally awesome song and b) it goes so well with so many different kinds of songs. plus everyone who thinks jon spencer is cool should learn about how much cooler he is when christina martinez is singing.
